terminator

The T-R80, formally T-R80 Series R Reconnaissance Infiltration Unit, also known as "C-Bats" or "Cyberbats," is an Infiltrator used by Skynet 2.0.[1]

Specification

The T-R80 is a notable advancement over its predecessor, the T-R40 Recon-rat. The development of Cyberbats, like their T-Rat counterparts, owes its existence to the technological progress achieved through miniaturization, a significant achievement of Skynet 2.0 during the 2030s. These Cyberbats can fly autonomously for extended periods, reaching up to eight hours before requiring recharging. Equipped with highly sophisticated ears, they have advanced sensors capable of detecting and analyzing human breathing patterns. Cyberbats often have various enhancements, such as chemical dosers, internal explosives, or similar devices.[1]

Mission Profile

T-R80 colonies consist of large groups of a hundred or more units that fly in unison, covering a significant area of approximately one square kilometer. These colonies function as a coordinated network, employing a combination of LIDAR and ultrasonic sensors to create a comprehensive three-dimensional representation of the surrounding terrain and objects directly underneath it. Through their extensive mapping program and systematic search patterns, the T-R80 engage in missions to locate specific items or information,[1] like mineral deposits used in the fabrication of Hunter-Killers.[2]
